We are a traditional Northumbrian country inn located in the picturesque village of Newton-on-the-Moor, near Morpeth. Our elevated position gives us beautiful views across the Northumberland Coast and towards the Cheviot Hills, creating a relaxed and distinctive setting for events and celebrations. We combine traditional hospitality with comfortable accommodation, excellent food and flexible spaces for private and corporate occasions. Our restaurant and dining areas provide an inviting environment for meals and celebrations, while our bar, snug and lounge offer more informal options for gatherings. For corporate guests, we provide a private meeting lounge that seats approximately 20 people, with tea, coffee and lunch available as part of our meeting package. We also host weddings and can accommodate approximately 80–100 guests for wedding receptions. Our on-site bedrooms and suites allow guests to stay with us after events, while our parking and convenient location close to the A1 make us easily accessible.
