Carlisle Business Centre is a business and community events facility located at 60 Carlisle Road in Manningham, Bradford. The centre occupies a former textile-mill building distinguished by its historic clock tower and has operated as a business centre since its redevelopment in 1991. It is run as a not-for-private-profit social enterprise and supports local businesses, community organisations and entrepreneurs. The centre provides a combination of office accommodation, meeting rooms, training facilities and larger event space. Its meeting rooms have capacities ranging from 3 to 75 people, while the larger Carlisle Hall is currently advertised at up to 150 people. This makes the venue suitable for both small business meetings and larger conferences or social functions. Meeting facilities include free internet, projectors or smart TVs, flipcharts, whiteboards and AV sound systems. The Carlisle Hall additionally has controlled heating, air conditioning, PA equipment, microphones, a lectern, water cooler and a kitchen/serving area. Corporate catering can also be arranged. The venue is conveniently located close to Bradford city centre and Bradford Forster Square railway station, with bus connections and free on-site parking. A café operates within the centre, providing another useful facility for delegates.
Carlisle Hall is the centre's largest event space. The current official meeting-room page lists capacity of up to 150. It has round/rectangular tables and chairs, controlled heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, flipchart, whiteboard, projector, Smart TV, PA system, controlled sound system, water cooler, lectern, microphones and direct access from the free car park.
The Priestley Suite accommodates approximately 25 people. It includes tables and chairs, free Wi-Fi, flipchart, whiteboard, projector, PA sound system and water cooler. It is particularly suitable for training, workshops, presentations and smaller meetings.
The Rowntree Suite is a smaller meeting room with a published capacity of 12–14 people. It is appropriate for board meetings, training, interviews and small-group discussions. The current website lists it at £28 per hour.
The Boardroom is a compact business meeting space accommodating approximately 8–10 people. It is intended for focused meetings and discussions rather than larger conferences. The current official page lists it at £25 per hour.
