Kirkleatham Walled Garden

Kirkleatham Walled Garden is a distinctive Grade II-listed heritage and events venue situated on the historic Kirkleatham Estate near Redcar. The four-acre walled garden was restored as part of a major regeneration project and reopened in 2021, combining its historic horticultural character with modern hospitality and event facilities. The garden contains formal and informal planting areas, a kitchen garden, Glass House, Bothy Gallery, café and a purpose-built Turner Pavilion. The Turner Pavilion is the principal event space and provides the venue's largest capacity. It is a purpose-built, year-round marquee with a large bar and private courtyard. It can accommodate up to 350 guests for banquet-style events, while current venue-hire information gives capacities of up to 500 theatre-style and 450 standing. Smaller events can use the Glass House, which accommodates up to 40 people, or the Bothy Gallery, which is suitable for events of up to 35 people. Outdoor ceremonies can also take place within the gardens under the venue's wedding arrangements. The venue provides catering, a bar, AV and lighting, Wi-Fi, parking and accessible facilities. Its combination of heritage gardens and modern event infrastructure makes it particularly attractive for weddings, conferences, corporate events, dinners, receptions, private celebrations and experiential events.
