Gullivers

Positioned proudly on Oldham Street, Gullivers stands as a pillar of Manchester's independent live music and entertainment legacy, with historical tavern roots tracking back to 1865. Behind its traditional, beautifully preserved public house facade lies a versatile, multi-tier independent venue space that regularly hosts touring live acts, fringe theatre groups, stand-up comedy productions, and collaborative artistic workshops. The property serves as a vital community hub within the Northern Quarter ecosystem, striking a perfect balance between a gritty, authentic grassroots performance space and a reliable, highly functional asset for private hire, promotional showcases, and celebratory social gatherings. Known for maintaining highly competitive, accessible pub bar pricing alongside an impressive selection of cask ales, craft beers, and spirits, the establishment offers organizers an inviting, cost-effective alternative to standard sterile corporate event wings. Backed by highly skilled, passion-driven in-house sound technicians and featuring a robust, fully optimized public address system, the venue ensures pristine sonic delivery across both of its dedicated performance rooms, catering to event coordinators who refuse to compromise on technical acoustics or cultural edge.
