The room has a long history as a concert and entertainment room and is now used for weddings, birthday parties, conferences, funeral receptions and celebratory dinners. It provides a flexible setting with catering, bar and entertainment facilities and access to the venue's outdoor areas.
The Fulwood Room is the Norfolk Arms' smaller meeting and event space, designed for intimate corporate meetings, interviews, society meetings and small gatherings. The venue specifically recommends it for groups of between two and 14 guests. It provides a quieter alternative to the larger Mayfield Room while retaining access to the venue's hospitality and event services.
The Norfolk Arms can extend its event facilities with a fully lined and heated marquee. The marquee provides additional covered event space for larger weddings and celebrations and can accommodate up to 80 additional seated guests or 100 guests for a less formal buffet. It can therefore substantially increase the capacity of the Mayfield Room.
