The Green Dragon

We are The Green Dragon, a traditional country pub in the heart of Bedale, North Yorkshire. We offer a warm and welcoming setting where guests can enjoy our bar area, light and airy Conservatory restaurant and comfortable accommodation. Our Grade II listed building retains traditional character, including beamed ceilings and log fires, while our hospitality provides a relaxed Yorkshire experience. We have seven individually furnished en-suite bedrooms, with room prices including a hearty Yorkshire breakfast. Throughout the day, we serve homemade pub food in our restaurant or pub, including our legendary steak pie, freshly baked pizzas and options for vegetarian, vegan and coeliac guests. We also offer a selection of cask ales and other drinks. Guests can enjoy convenient two-hour parking on the Market Place outside, while longer-stay parking is available nearby. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome, making us a relaxed destination for locals and visitors alike.
