Sipi Heritage Lodge

Sipi Heritage Lodge is a boutique lodge and retreat property situated in the foothills of Mount Elgon, surrounded by the landscape of Sipi Falls and the region's coffee-growing communities. The property consists of a main house and five detached guest accommodations, with individually designed rooms positioned to take advantage of views towards Kapsururu Falls. Its small-scale layout gives the lodge a more private character than a conventional conference hotel and makes it suitable for intimate group stays and retreats. The main house serves as the social centre of the property, bringing together fireside dining, a reading lounge, bar and airy veranda. Dining is an important part of the lodge experience, with meals prepared for resident guests and an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. The lodge also works with locally grown Arabica coffee, which is roasted on site and available to guests, while coffee tours provide an opportunity to explore the surrounding coffee-growing communities. Beyond the accommodation and dining facilities, Sipi Heritage Lodge provides access to a range of Mount Elgon experiences, including waterfall walks, coffee tours, cultural experiences, hiking and outdoor activities. The combination of accommodation, communal spaces and extensive outdoor grounds makes the property suitable for small corporate retreats, executive gatherings, private celebrations, wellness activities and group experiences that benefit from an outdoor setting.
