Leeds Corn Exchange

Leeds Corn Exchange is one of Leeds' most distinctive historic buildings and a major architectural landmark in the city centre. Designed by Victorian architect Cuthbert Brodrick, the building was constructed between 1861 and 1863 and originally operated as a corn trading exchange. Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant independent retail, food, creative and cultural destination. The building's striking circular interior and domed roof provide a highly distinctive setting compared with conventional conference or function venues. The Corn Exchange describes itself as a meeting space and host for events throughout the year, while its surrounding Corn Exchange Square has also been developed as a public space capable of supporting pop-up events and gatherings. Current activities include independent shops, food businesses, creative enterprises, exhibitions and cultural events. The venue is centrally located on Call Lane and is easily accessible by public transport. Leeds City railway station and Leeds CyclePoint are within walking distance, while Crown Street Car Park and NCP Car Park Leeds The Markets are among the closest parking facilities.
