Sunbridge Wells

Sunbridge Wells gives a truly distinctive setting beneath the streets of Bradford, where restored historic tunnels create an atmospheric environment unlike a conventional event venue. Our underground complex sits in the heart of the city and combines historic character with a collection of hospitality, leisure and entertainment spaces. We offer visitors the opportunity to explore original tunnel features while enjoying food, drinks, entertainment and social experiences within this unusual setting. Our location incorporates several entrances around the city centre, making us conveniently positioned close to Bradford’s wider attractions and amenities. The character of our underground spaces makes us suitable for cultural occasions, live entertainment, social gatherings, literary events and other activities that benefit from an unconventional backdrop. We have retained important elements of Bradford’s history within the development, including sections connected with the city’s historic foundations and former air-raid-shelter use. Sunbridge Wells therefore gives guests both an engaging social experience and an opportunity to experience a remarkable part of Bradford’s heritage.
