Set within a former fire station in Gipton, Leeds, The Old Fire Station provides a distinctive community and events hub with a range of bright, modern spaces available for hire. Our building retains elements of its fire-station heritage while providing contemporary facilities for meetings, conferences, team away days, community activities, celebrations and other organised events. We welcome groups ranging from small gatherings of two people to larger events of up to 150 attendees across our available spaces. Our facilities include accessible rooms, step-free access, accessible parking, accessible bathrooms and hearing loops. We also offer free on-site parking, electric vehicle charging points and a covered cycle store. Our on-site café provides refreshments, while Leeds Cookery School gives organisers opportunities for cookery-based activities, corporate away days and private celebrations. We are home to several local charities and community organisations, creating a welcoming environment focused on community, connection, learning and wellbeing. Our historic setting and flexible facilities make us a distinctive venue in East Leeds.

This bright room looks out onto our community garden and has capacity for 14 people around the board room tables, 20 theatre style, 11 in a U shape or 12 classroom for classroom style. We have a range of equipment that you can hire, including projection with our smart TV, conference call facility, and flip charts.
