ara Garden Hotel & Apartments is a modern hotel and serviced-apartment property located along Zzimwe Road in Muyenga, Kampala. The property combines hotel rooms with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and a penthouse suite, making it suitable for both short business stays and longer residential visits. Guest facilities include private balconies, Wi-Fi, breakfast, room service, parking, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. The property also has a dedicated meetings and events operation supporting strategy sessions, boardroom meetings, training sessions, workshops, product launches and presentations, as well as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings and private parties. Its event infrastructure includes a conference centre, two meeting rooms and a banquet hall, while the hotel provides event planning and catering support through its events and banquet team. A notable part of the property's event offering is its rooftop restaurant and bar, which provides elevated views across Kampala and the surrounding area. The rooftop has also been used for an actual private event, with a guest review documenting a book launch hosted there and describing the hotel's staff as providing event support. This gives the property an additional option for social functions, launches, networking gatherings and evening events alongside its indoor meeting facilities.
The conference centre is the property's main formal meeting facility, designed for organised business and institutional functions. It supports strategy sessions, training programmes, workshops, product launches, thematic presentations and other corporate activities. The hotel also provides event planning support and banquet services for functions held at the property.
Zara Garden has two meeting rooms that provide smaller settings for business meetings, strategy sessions, boardroom meetings and other group activities.
The rooftop restaurant and bar provides an elevated outdoor setting overlooking Kampala and the surrounding neighbourhood. The space has been used for private events, including a documented book launch, and is suitable for social gatherings, networking events, private dinners, celebrations and product or book launches.
The property has a banquet hall that forms part of its event facilities and can support private and social functions. It complements the conference and meeting facilities and allows the hotel to host organised celebrations and group events.
