Designed by international architects Perkins+Will, the iconic central library tower sits over a massive open-air courtyard and a dramatic sunken plaza featuring reflecting pools. This highly aesthetic space is frequently used for open-air exhibitions, cultural milestones, and large academic assemblies.

Most modern faculty blocks (such as Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering) feature dedicated indoor amphitheaters. These are equipped with sloped theatre seating, integrated audiovisual frameworks, and podiums used for conferences and symposiums.
