The Activity Room is a smaller ground-floor event space designed particularly for creative workshops, training sessions and small meetings. It includes a projector and screen and provides a practical alternative to the gallery's larger rooms. The theatre capacity is 50, making it suitable for smaller corporate and educational events.
The Avenue is the Millennium Gallery's main internal thoroughfare and can be used for networking drinks and reception-style activities. Sheffield Museums states that events in this area can incorporate private viewing of exhibitions and displays, making it particularly attractive for corporate hospitality and cultural networking events.
The Craft & Design Gallery is an exhibition area within the Millennium Gallery and has historically been included among the gallery's approved rooms for civil ceremonies. Sheffield's approved-premises register lists a capacity of 31 for this room.
The Millennium Café is a hospitality area within the gallery and appears in Sheffield's approved-premises documentation with a capacity of 158. It can therefore have event relevance, particularly for hospitality and ceremony arrangements, but it should not be confused with the principal Arundel and Cadman conference spaces.
