We are a charming Grade II listed former Georgian rectory in Handsworth, Sheffield, offering a distinctive and flexible setting for weddings, celebrations, meetings and community events. Our historic building is set within its own grounds and provides a welcoming atmosphere while remaining conveniently located close to Junction 33 of the M1 and within easy reach of Sheffield city centre. We have a choice of function rooms to accommodate different event sizes, with our Main Hall providing the largest space and a built-in stage for presentations, speeches, entertainment and celebrations. Our smaller rooms are ideal for more intimate gatherings, meetings and breakout activities. We also have private outdoor areas and complimentary onsite parking for our guests. We can provide catering packages or offer flexible self-catering options for those who wish to organise their own suppliers. Our venue can be hired exclusively, allowing us to provide a private and adaptable environment for your occasion. We are also licensed for civil ceremonies and can tailor our spaces to suit your plans.
Our Main Hall is our largest and most versatile event space, accommodating up to 200 people in suitable layouts. We provide a built-in stage, natural daylight, Wi-Fi and a PA system, making the room well suited to weddings, conferences, presentations, celebrations, entertainment and larger community events. The hall can be arranged around the style and requirements of your event.
Our Ballifield Room is a bright and welcoming function room with natural daylight, making it particularly suitable for smaller celebrations, meetings, workshops and intimate gatherings. We can accommodate up to 50 people in a theatre-style arrangement, with flexible layouts available for different types of events.
Our Orgreave Room provides a flexible space for smaller meetings, celebrations, training sessions and private gatherings. We can accommodate up to 50 people in theatre-style seating, while the room can also be arranged in smaller configurations to create a more intimate setting.
