Wharfedale Grange is a luxury barn wedding and events venue situated on a 25-acre former flower and fruit farm at Dunkeswick, between Leeds and Harrogate. The North Barn is the principal ceremony space at Wharfedale Grange and can seat up to 200 guests. It features a polished concrete floor, mezzanine level and a large fairy-light installation. The space is designed for wedding ceremonies and can accommodate musicians, registrars or celebrants.
The South Barn is the main wedding breakfast and reception space. It has a double-height interior, mezzanine level, chandeliers, designer tables and luxury dining chairs. A large rose-gold mirror ball hangs above the dance floor, while a stage, lighting and professional sound system support evening entertainment.
The Cart Barn houses the venue's designer cocktail bar and two mezzanine levels furnished with luxury sofas. It features a log burner, antique mirrors and a steel-and-glass bridge overlooking the original Belle Époque chandelier. It is particularly useful for drinks receptions and informal guest socialising.
The oak arbour provides Wharfedale Grange's principal outdoor ceremony setting. It overlooks the surrounding Yorkshire countryside and is within walking distance of the barns. It offers an alternative to the indoor North Barn for couples wanting an outdoor ceremony.
The preparation suite is accessed through a concealed/“secret” door and is located upstairs beside the mezzanine. It is designed for the wedding party to get ready before the ceremony, providing a private preparation area rather than a conventional event room.
The courtyard and surrounding gardens provide spaces for post-ceremony drinks, photographs and informal guest interaction. The grounds include an English garden, orchard, wildflower meadows and a heart-shaped pond, creating numerous outdoor photography settings.
