Conveniently located on Orton Chirwa Drive, approximately 500 metres from the Mzuzu High Court Roundabout on the Nkhata Bay Road, the lodge provides affordable accommodation and professional event facilities for business travellers, tourists and local organisations. As one of MIT's three application hotels, Mzuzu Lodge also serves as a practical training establishment where hospitality students gain industry experience while delivering quality guest services under professional supervision. The lodge features ten villa-style executive rooms and five standard rooms, complemented by the Khalapya Restaurant and Khalapya Bar, which serve authentic Malawian cuisine and continental dishes. Conference facilities are designed for meetings, seminars, workshops and training sessions, while the landscaped gardens provide an attractive outdoor venue for weddings, receptions and private functions. Guests enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, conference catering, laundry services, room service, secure parking and personalised hospitality. Its strategic location near Mzuzu's commercial district and northern tourism attractions makes the lodge an ideal base for business meetings as well as leisure travel. Combining affordability, practical hospitality training and quality event services, Mzuzu Lodge has become one of the Northern Region's reliable conference and accommodation venues.
