Kirkstall Abbey

Kirkstall Abbey provides an exceptional historic setting in Leeds, combining dramatic medieval ruins with open parkland beside the River Aire. Our outdoor wedding setting can accommodate up to 500 guests, while the Rose Room provides an indoor option for wedding ceremonies with original stone walls, flooring and architectural features. Beyond weddings, our historic surroundings have hosted theatre performances, musical events, outdoor cinema, festivals and community activities. We also welcome filming and photography projects, taking advantage of the atmospheric abbey ruins and surrounding landscape.
