May 7 Hotel

May 7 Hotel is a hotel and event venue on Moroto Road in Soroti, providing accommodation, dining and function facilities within the city. The property combines guest rooms with a garden, restaurant, bar, terrace and meeting/event facilities, making it suitable for both overnight stays and organised gatherings. Current accommodation information confirms air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi, private parking, room service, a 24-hour front desk, restaurant and bar facilities. The property has demonstrated practical use for organised functions rather than serving only as an accommodation facility. In March 2025, the Democratic Party held its National Council meeting at May 7 Hotel over several days, while Soroti University held its Guild Leadership Awards Ceremony at the hotel in July 2026. The hotel is also listed with conference, meeting and banquet/function facilities, supporting its use for business meetings, conferences and social functions. For social functions, the garden provides the main outdoor setting, while the restaurant, bar and terrace can support food service, refreshments and smaller gatherings. Accommodation on the property also makes it practical for organisers bringing in guests or delegates who require an overnight stay.
