The Sergeant Collier Bar

At The Sergeant Collier Bar, we offer a welcoming social venue in the heart of Penrith, with a recently refurbished function room designed for private events and celebrations. We are located in the historic Crown Square building, which has been part of Penrith’s community for more than 140 years. Our function room can accommodate up to 200 guests and is available exclusively to those hiring the space, giving event organisers a private environment for their occasion. We also provide access to our beer garden and an additional overspill or quieter area within our 1882 dining room. For catering, our hirers can choose to arrange their own food or make use of our kitchen facilities. We have also retained the character and social atmosphere of the venue while giving it a new identity as The Sergeant Collier Bar. Whether you are organising a celebration, private gathering or community event, we aim to provide a flexible and welcoming space.
