The British Council in Freetown is the United Kingdom's international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities in Sierra Leone. Located on Tower Hill, the facility offers landmark venue hire services for international conferences, corporate meetings, cultural events, press briefings, and training workshops. The property features one of Freetown's premier auditoriums equipped with integrated stage lighting, a PA sound system, projection screens, alongside dedicated air-conditioned seminar and meeting rooms.
The British Council premises on Tower Hill hosts one the most famous auditoriums in Freetown, and indeed in the whole of Sierra Leone. The rectangular shaped auditorium can be easily adapted to host lectures, seminars, theatre, music and conferences. It has its own stage lights and public address system and screens. The auditorium can accommodate: 300 people for conferences, seminars and training 200 people for dinners and theatre
Our seminar room is fully air-conditioned and is designed for smaller meetings of up to 25 people if seated in a round table format. With a seating capacity of 15 maximum, our meeting room is ideal for meetings, presentations and roundtable discussions.
