The Castlefield Rooms is a collection of characterful private event spaces in the heart of Manchester City Centre. We are situated in the Castlefield conservation area, where our rooms combine contemporary design with the area's distinctive industrial heritage and views across the Castlefield Basin. Our spaces accommodate between 30 and 250 guests, allowing us to host intimate gatherings as well as larger corporate and private occasions. We provide a choice of three stylish spaces, each offering a different atmosphere and layout. Our team provides a full event-planning service and works with the chefs at Albert's Shed to create menus for different occasions. We welcome weddings, private celebrations, conferences, networking events, business meetings, lunches, dinners, award events and product launches. We also provide complimentary parking and are conveniently positioned close to Deansgate and major transport connections. Our aim is to give every event a distinctive setting, flexible arrangements, professional support and memorable food and hospitality.
The Merchant Room is our contemporary event space, designed with roof glazing and dual-aspect floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Castlefield Basin. We use it for conferences, celebrations, ceremonies, dinners and receptions.
The Brindley Room retains the loft-style beams of its former carpenter's-workshop origins while providing a flexible modern setting. We use it for conferences, meetings, ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, receptions and private celebrations.
Our Gallery Bar and Balcony is a mezzanine-level space within Dukes 92, offering a private bar and an external balcony overlooking the Castlefield Basin. We use it particularly for smaller receptions, drinks and summer BBQs.
