Bradford Playhouse

Bradford Playhouse gives a distinctive Art Deco setting in the heart of Bradford’s Little Germany, where we provide flexible spaces for theatre, entertainment, meetings and private events. Our historic building dates from the 1920s, and we offer several spaces that can be adapted to different event requirements. Our Main Auditorium provides a traditional theatre environment with a proscenium arch stage, flying system, house PA, stage lighting and cinema facilities. We also offer our Studio as an intimate and flexible black-box style space with movable seating and a full lighting and sound rig. Our Bar provides a relaxed setting for meetings, parties, gatherings and pre-show drinks, while our Rehearsal Room is suitable for informal meetings, auditions and rehearsals. We welcome a wide range of productions and events, including drama, musicals, live music, cinema, conferences, cabaret, filming and community activities. Accessibility facilities and support are also available throughout selected areas of our building.
