Harewood House gives us a remarkable setting in the Yorkshire countryside, around seven miles from central Leeds and Harrogate. At the heart of our estate, the 18th-century house is surrounded by more than 140 acres of gardens, woodland and parkland. Designed by John Carr, with interiors by Robert Adam and furniture by Thomas Chippendale, our property brings together exceptional architecture, art and landscape with facilities designed for modern events.
We offer a wide choice of spaces, from elegant rooms within the Georgian house to our Grade II-listed Courtyard, dedicated Harewood Suite and extensive outdoor areas. Our venue is suited to meetings, conferences, away days, private dining, receptions, networking, seminars, team-building activities, corporate hospitality, weddings and large outdoor events.
Inside the House, our Gallery can accommodate up to 178 guests for receptions or 120 in a theatre-style arrangement. The Harewood Suite can host up to 150 for receptions, while the Courtyard provides space for up to 150 guests for dinner or receptions.
Our wedding offering ranges from intimate celebrations to larger occasions of up to 400 guests, allowing couples to choose a setting that reflects the scale and style of their day.
Whether you are planning a corporate away day, formal dinner, conference, wedding or large outdoor gathering, Harewood House gives you the opportunity to bring your event to life across an estate where historic architecture, beautiful landscapes and contemporary event facilities come together.
