Green Meadows Lodge is a boutique-style lodge and hospitality property located on Buwesa Close in the Senior Quarters area of Tororo, Uganda. The property is situated in a quiet, green environment at the foot of Tororo Rock, with views towards the surrounding Osukuru hills and the lowlands beyond. It combines accommodation, dining, leisure and event facilities within a landscaped property, providing a more relaxed alternative to conventional city conference venues. The lodge is particularly suited to guests and event organisers looking for a peaceful setting for business meetings, conferences, weddings, celebrations and other private or corporate functions.
The property is surrounded by mature greenery and spacious landscaped gardens, which form an important part of its event offering. The outdoor areas provide room for a broad range of functions, from traditional garden weddings and introductions to corporate events, networking activities, product launches, banquets, cocktail gatherings, live-band entertainment, gospel events, birthdays, children's parties and team-building activities. The gardens can accommodate substantially larger gatherings than the lodge's indoor/open-air conference facility, with the venue directory listing an overall event capacity ranging from 60 to 1,000 guests depending on the event arrangement.
In addition to its event spaces, the lodge provides accommodation and hospitality services, including an on-site restaurant, bar/lounge, complimentary Wi-Fi, free parking, breakfast, room service, laundry facilities, concierge services and a 24-hour front desk. The restaurant and bar provide convenient food, drinks and refreshment options for hotel guests as well as people attending events at the property. Tripadvisor also describes the lodge as having a comfortable lounge area overlooking the gardens, providing a relaxed setting where guests can watch television, have a drink or enjoy coffee.
The lodge's combination of mature gardens, conference facilities, restaurant, bar/lounge and accommodation makes it suitable for events where organisers want several functions to take place within one property.
