National Justice Museum

Located within Nottingham’s Grade II* listed Shire Hall, the National Justice Museum provides a collection of historic and distinctive spaces for meetings, conferences, celebrations, receptions and other events. Our venue combines authentic Victorian courtrooms, historic prison areas and period rooms with contemporary meeting facilities. The Victorian Civil Courtroom provides a dramatic setting for conferences, presentations, mock trials, special events and award ceremonies, while the Shire Hall and Grand Jury Room provide options for corporate events, parties, dinners and drinks receptions. We also offer the Advocates Suite and Magistrates Suite for smaller meetings, training sessions and intimate gatherings. Our spaces can be hired individually or, where appropriate, combined to create a larger event experience. We also offer filming and photography hire across the Museum and City of Caves. Event hire contributes directly towards maintaining the historic building, museum, City of Caves and our learning programmes.
