The Venue by Face Forward is an Afro-modern meetings and events facility situated on Salima Road on the outskirts of Lilongwe. The venue was established as a dedicated facility for conferences, meetings and public events and was promoted as providing an Afro-modern experience through its décor, service and event environment. Its location approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Mchezi Road Block makes it accessible from the Lilongwe area while providing an event setting away from the city centre. The venue's documented facilities include one meeting room, one conference room, a marquee and gardens. These spaces are complemented by catering services, a functional bar, Wi-Fi and VIP waiting areas. The venue has been used for conferences, corporate events, trainings, team-building activities, weddings, engagements and anniversaries. Its conference credentials are supported by actual events held at the facility. For example, a media-training workshop was conducted at The Venue by Face Forward in August 2020, while the venue also partnered with We Events for wedding and events-industry activities.
Designed for formal business functions, this professional, climate-controlled indoor space is tailored for high-productivity corporate events. It features an Afro-centric aesthetic, modern audiovisual equipment, presentation screens, and flexible seating layouts. The quiet layout makes it perfect for hosting multi-day corporate training seminars, workshops, high-profile presentations, and regional executive board meetings.
The Meeting Room is one of the dedicated indoor spaces identified at The Venue by Face Forward. It forms part of the facility's professional meeting infrastructure and is intended for meetings and smaller organized gatherings. The venue does not publicly disclose its official room name, dimensions, seating configurations or current maximum capacity.
This large, semi-permanent pavilion structure blends indoor shelter with an open-air atmosphere, shielding guests from weather while maintaining a spacious environment. It serves as a versatile blank canvas for custom decor setups, lighting arrays, and banqueting tables. The pavilion is highly popular for large wedding receptions, engagement parties, corporate galas, and vibrant weekend entertainment events.
