Valley Parade, officially the University of Bradford Stadium, is a historic football stadium in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and has been the home of Bradford City AFC since 1903. The ground originally opened in 1886 as the home of Manningham Rugby Football Club and has undergone substantial redevelopment, particularly following the 1985 stadium fire and subsequent reconstruction. The modern stadium has an all-seater capacity of approximately 24,840.
Beyond football, Valley Parade operates as a multi-purpose hospitality, conference and events venue. Its function suites can be configured for meetings, conferences, private celebrations, corporate entertaining, receptions and weddings. Current venue-directory information describes the stadium as offering function suites ranging from small rooms to spaces accommodating several hundred guests, with catering provided.
The stadium complex includes hospitality suites, executive boxes, conference/event areas, bars and other facilities. Historical stadium information records 17 executive boxes, conference facilities with capacity for up to 700 people, and a Bantams Bar capable of accommodating approximately 300 people.
More recent event information identifies spaces including the President, Chairman, Patrons, Hendrie Suite, McCall Suite and Banqueting Suite, with the largest reported event configuration accommodating up to 900 guests.
Its stadium setting, hospitality facilities, catering and flexible function rooms make Valley Parade particularly suitable for conferences, meetings, corporate events, receptions, dinners, weddings, presentations, exhibitions and football-related hospitality.
