Wortley Hall is a historic stately-home venue in Wortley, South Yorkshire, approximately 15 miles from Sheffield and close to the M1. Set within 26 acres of formal gardens and woodland, the property combines historic architecture with modern conference, accommodation, dining and event facilities. It is particularly well suited to organisations seeking a residential conference or corporate away-day venue with a distinctive country-house setting rather than a conventional hotel conference centre. The venue's conference operation includes two large conference rooms and seven fully equipped meeting and training rooms, with capacity for up to 250 delegates. Facilities include flip charts, interactive whiteboards, LCD projectors and screens, TV/DVD equipment, free Wi-Fi and a PA system with microphones in the large conference room. A conference manager provides event-planning and operational support. Wortley Hall is also a significant wedding and private-events venue. Its wedding facilities include individually designed ceremony and dining rooms, with civil ceremonies available for groups ranging from intimate gatherings of 10 to celebrations of up to 200 guests. The grounds and gardens are also licensed for ceremonies. For residential events, the Hall provides 55 en-suite bedrooms in the main building and three self-catering cottages. Its grounds can also accommodate outdoor team-building activities, including organised challenges and treasure hunts.
The Unite Ballroom is one of Wortley Hall's principal large event rooms, characterised by high ceilings, six crystal chandeliers and large windows providing natural daylight. It is suitable for conferences, ceremonies, weddings, receptions and larger functions. Its published civil-ceremony capacity reaches 200 guests, making it the Hall's largest named ceremony space.
The Foundry Dining Room is a grand historic dining and ceremony space featuring a crystal chandelier, hand-painted Italianate ceiling, original stained glass and oak panelling. It provides a particularly atmospheric setting for formal meals, weddings, ceremonies and private dining, with a published civil-ceremony capacity of up to 150 guests.

The Boardroom is one of Wortley Hall's dedicated business meeting spaces and is intended for smaller, focused meetings rather than large conferences. It forms part of the Hall's seven meeting and training rooms and benefits from the venue's wider conference infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, presentation equipment and conference-management support.
The Unison North West Gas Room is one of Wortley Hall's dedicated meeting and training rooms. It forms part of the venue's seven-room business-meeting provision and is designed for smaller corporate meetings, training sessions and workshops. Its individual capacity is not currently published on the main conference page.
The GMB Room is another of Wortley Hall's named meeting and training spaces. It provides flexibility for smaller business gatherings and can complement the venue's larger conference facilities when an event requires breakout rooms.
The Sylvia Pankhurst Library is a characterful historic room lined with original oak bookshelves and featuring a fireplace, crystal chandeliers and sash windows. Its intimate atmosphere makes it particularly appropriate for smaller meetings, private events, ceremonies and receptions. The published civil-ceremony capacity is up to 50 guests.
Stewart Charnley is one of the named meeting and training rooms within Wortley Hall's conference facilities. It provides additional capacity for smaller corporate events, training sessions and meetings alongside the Hall's two larger conference rooms
Wortley Hall's 26 acres of formal gardens and woodland provide an extensive outdoor environment for ceremonies, photography, corporate away days and team-building activities. The grounds include approximately 11 acres of formal gardens, with outdoor areas available for organised activities including challenges, games and treasure hunts.
