The Haworth Hostel is a distinctive historic group-accommodation and events venue in Haworth, West Yorkshire, located within the landscape known as Brontë Country. We are housed in a Victorian Gothic mansion originally built as a mill owner's family home in the late nineteenth century. Our architecture retains features including stained glass, ornate oak detailing, grand fireplaces and a sweeping staircase, giving us a strong period character.
Today, we provide a flexible base for families, school groups, university groups, walkers, cyclists, youth organisations and larger private parties. We have 89 beds across a range of room sizes, while our whole-property exclusive-hire option allows groups to take over the building and its shared facilities.
We are also marketed for weddings, birthdays, reunions, residential educational trips, corporate retreats and other group celebrations. Our facilities include meeting rooms, classrooms, dining areas, lounges, a games room, self-catering kitchen, gardens, cycle storage, drying facilities, Wi-Fi and free parking.
Our dining facilities can accommodate 60 people in one dining room and 100 across both dining areas. Our special-occasions offering supports celebrations of up to 100 people, while our wedding facilities can accommodate up to 85 guests.
