The Haybarn

We are The Haybarn at Beechenhill Farm, a unique and well-equipped event space set within our farm in Ilam, Derbyshire. We provide a flexible setting for courses, workshops and a range of private and business events. Our Haybarn has an upstairs gallery with sofas and seating, together with wheelchair access, while downstairs we have underfloor heating, trestle tables and chairs available by arrangement, and space for larger groups to enjoy meals together. We also provide bicycle storage and a warm drying room, making the space practical for visitors exploring the surrounding Peak District. We host civil ceremonies, wedding receptions, parties, conferences, seminars, workshops and courses. For ceremonies and conferences, we allow a maximum of 100 people, while weddings, including evening guests, are limited to 75 people. We also have accommodation on the farm, making it possible to combine an event with an extended stay.
