The property combines accommodation with a restaurant and bar, spa and wellness facilities, terraces, picnic areas and outdoor gathering spaces. Current accommodation listings identify 13 individually furnished guestrooms, including single, double, executive and family-style options, with some rooms offering lake or garden views and private patios. KFR is also positioned as an event venue rather than simply an accommodation property. Its dedicated events offering covers corporate meetings and product launches as well as engagements, birthday parties and anniversary celebrations, with facility managers available to assist with event setup. The property also provides a conference facility/meeting room measuring approximately 60 square metres, together with banquet facilities, a garden, terrace and picnic area. Food and beverage facilities are an important part of the venue experience. KFR operates a restaurant and bar, an outdoor lounge overlooking Lake Victoria and a distinctive tree bar, while its services page also highlights BBQs, live entertainment and themed evenings. The lodge's spa provides massage, sauna and steam facilities, making the property suitable for events where guests may combine a function with dining, accommodation and leisure activities.
KFR has a dedicated conference and meeting facility measuring approximately 60 square metres, with one meeting room identified in current hotel listings. The space is intended for corporate meetings, product launches and other organized business functions, while the hotel's event team can assist with arranging the setup.
The landscaped grounds provide the property's principal larger outdoor setting for private and social functions. KFR actively promotes the venue for engagements, birthday parties, anniversaries and other celebrations, while its event offering also supports corporate functions. The grounds can accommodate outdoor seating, dining and celebration setups, with the surrounding vegetation and elevated location providing the setting for functions held outside the main buildings.
The open-air lounge overlooks Lake Victoria and functions as an informal outdoor hospitality and gathering area. It is connected to the property's food and beverage offering and can support relaxed social gatherings, drinks, informal networking, group dining and smaller private functions.
The Tree Bar is an elevated bar built around a mature tree, creating a distinctive outdoor setting within the resort. It can be incorporated into informal social gatherings, drinks receptions and evening entertainment, particularly where the event is designed around KFR's outdoor atmosphere and food-and-beverage service.
