Thornbridge Hall is our Grade II listed stately home, set within the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District and surrounded by extensive parkland and formal gardens. We offer a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate occasions, private celebrations, parties, conferences, product launches and filming. Our venue combines historic character with flexible spaces, allowing us to create events that are intimate, elegant, relaxed or grand. We have our spectacular Great Hall, restored Music Room, Carriage House, Boardroom, House Bar and Underground Cellar Bar, alongside our gardens and outdoor spaces. We also provide bespoke in-house catering, with our award-winning team creating menus tailored to each occasion. For weddings, we can accommodate celebrations of up to 250 guests and provide exclusive use of the venue. We pride ourselves on offering a highly personalised experience, supported by our experienced events team. From the first enquiry through to the event itself, we work closely with our clients to create memorable occasions that reflect their individual requirements and style.

The Great Hall

Thornbridge Hall’s Great Hall gives us a spectacular historic setting, featuring William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones stained glass, an impressive fireplace and balcony seating for ceremonies and receptions.

The Carriage House

Our former stable building is now a bright, spacious reception space with a glass ceiling, courtyard, terrace and views towards the Kitchen Gardens, providing a versatile blank canvas.

Music Room

Our Music Room is an ornate, carefully restored space licensed for civil ceremonies. We also use it for drinks receptions, giving guests an elegant and intimate setting within the Hall.

The Boardroom

South Lawn Temple
