Chalo Villas and Farms Conference Center

Chalo Villas and Farms is a countryside hospitality estate in Chitedze, just outside Lilongwe along the M12 Mchinji Road. The property combines private accommodation, an estate restaurant, a working agricultural farm and dedicated event facilities within one setting. Its location approximately 20 minutes from Lilongwe provides an alternative to conventional city-based hotels for organizations and individuals seeking a quieter countryside environment. The estate's accommodation consists of nine stand-alone villas: six Nest Villas positioned in the garden and three Orchard Villas among the trees. The property also operates Harvest Table, its estate restaurant, which serves guests and day visitors and uses seasonal ingredients, including produce from the farm. For events, Chalo specifically advertises boardroom sessions, team-building weekends, weddings, private dinners and family celebrations. Its dedicated 22-seat boardroom is equipped for seminars and corporate retreats. Events can also make use of Harvest Table and the open estate grounds. The estate additionally operates irrigated farmland supported by reservoir and borehole systems, producing vegetables, spices and aquaculture products. This farm-to-table model is a distinctive feature of the venue.
