Old Palace Chester

Old Palace Chester is a historic Georgian manor house overlooking the River Dee in the heart of Chester. Built in 1751, we offer an exclusive-use setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, private celebrations and special events. Our venue combines original historic features with elegant event spaces, private gardens and modern facilities, creating a distinctive setting for occasions of different styles and sizes. We provide flexible meeting and event spaces, with our Ballroom accommodating up to 150 guests for dining and our wider event configuration accommodating larger evening celebrations. We also offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options, an outdoor kitchen, in-house catering, an onsite bar and bespoke dining experiences. Guests can stay with us in our ensuite bedrooms, including our Palace Suite, while event preparations can take place in our dedicated Morning Room. We provide secure gated parking, disabled access and EV charging facilities. Whether hosting a wedding, conference, gala dinner, product launch or private celebration, we tailor our spaces and services to the requirements of each event.
