Mosborough Hall Hotel is a historic 12th-century manor house situated in the village of Mosborough, on the southeastern side of Sheffield. The hotel combines period architecture and character with modern accommodation, conference facilities and hospitality services. It is particularly well positioned for events requiring convenient access to the M1 while offering a quieter setting away from Sheffield city centre. The hotel is approximately four miles from Junction 30 of the M1. Our venue provides five principal meeting and function spaces, ranging from the intimate Hudson Room for small meetings to the large Haddon & Chatsworth configuration, which can accommodate up to 250 people theatre-style. The Chatsworth Suite itself is a substantial self-contained event space with its own private courtyard and bar, making it particularly suitable for conferences, product launches, training days and large celebrations. Mosborough Hall also operates as a wedding and social-event venue. The Haddon Suite, formerly the hotel's old stables, can host civil ceremonies, while the Garden Pavilion provides an outdoor ceremony option. The hotel guarantees wedding exclusivity, meaning only one wedding is hosted on a given day. For hospitality, Darcy's Restaurant and Darcy's Bar provide on-site food and beverage services. The hotel has 46 bedrooms, making it suitable for residential conferences, weddings and multi-day corporate events. Complimentary on-site parking and gardens for team-building activities add further value.
Chatsworth Suite is Mosborough Hall's principal self-contained event space, offering its own private courtyard and bar. Its flexible layout makes it suitable for conferences, product launches, training days, weddings, dinners, receptions and corporate celebrations. Neutral décor allows organisers to customise the room around different themes, branding and event requirements.
The Haddon Suite is a characterful event space within Mosborough Hall, occupying the hotel's former stables. Its period character makes it particularly attractive for weddings and civil ceremonies, while its flexible capacity also supports conferences, meetings, dinners and private celebrations. The room combines heritage features with modern event facilities.
The Frecheville Room is a compact meeting and function space suited to small conferences, interviews, training sessions, workshops and private meetings. Its natural daylight and flexible layouts provide a practical setting for smaller groups. It can also support smaller receptions and dinners where a more intimate environment is preferred.
The Hudson Room is Mosborough Hall's most intimate dedicated meeting space. It is particularly suited to interviews, confidential meetings, small board meetings and focused workshops. The room has natural daylight and presentation facilities, while its small scale provides a quieter alternative to the hotel's larger conference and function rooms.
The Old Hall is one of Mosborough Hall's distinctive historic event spaces, retaining the character expected of a centuries-old manor house. Its intimate scale makes it suitable for private dinners, smaller presentations, board meetings and celebrations. The room's historic atmosphere provides an alternative to the hotel's more contemporary conference spaces.
The Garden Pavilion provides Mosborough Hall with an outdoor setting for civil wedding ceremonies and complements the hotel's historic indoor spaces. Surrounded by the hotel's grounds, it offers a more informal and scenic alternative to an indoor ceremony. It should be recorded as a ceremony/event feature rather than a standard conference room.
