The Riding School at Calke Abbey

Set within the historic 600-acre Calke Estate, The Riding School is a Grade II listed barn wedding venue combining exposed brickwork, oak beams, high ceilings and original windows with a flexible blank-canvas setting. The venue offers exclusive use for weddings, with licensed ceremonies, drinks and canapés, wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations all taking place on site. Guests can also enjoy the adjoining courtyard and explore Calke Abbey’s gardens, woodland, historic parkland and Orangery for photographs. Ivy House Weddings provides dedicated coordination, while catering and bar services are arranged with selected suppliers. The venue hosts a limited number of weddings each year, with its wedding season running from May to October.
