Turaco Treetops

Turaco Treetops is a semi-luxe forest lodge set on 5.2 hectares of rainforest adjoining Kibale National Park, offering an event setting centred on nature, accommodation and outdoor experiences rather than a conventional hotel conference complex. The property has 16 accommodation units comprising eight luxury forest cottages and eight standard rooms, with the cottages positioned in secluded parts of the forest and equipped with private outdoor decks. The main lodge forms the social centre of the property and contains a restaurant, bar, fireplace lounge, additional lounge areas, an outside terrace and an elevated first-floor lounge overlooking the forest and the Rwenzori Mountains. A 5-by-10-metre swimming pool sits in the garden directly in front of the main lodge, while Wi-Fi and charging facilities are available in the main building. For events, Turaco Treetops is best suited to smaller conferences, corporate retreats, workshops, private celebrations, group dinners, weddings and residential nature-based gatherings. The lodge's compact scale means event arrangements should be confirmed directly with management, particularly for larger groups or exclusive use. The property also gives groups access to a range of nature-based activities, including chimpanzee trekking, guided lodge nature walks, birding and other excursions around the Kibale Forest region. Its conservation focus is reinforced through the Chris Roberts Forest Foundation, which supports forest restoration and conservation around the lodge.
