Handsworth Methodist Church

Handsworth Methodist Church is our active community church and room-hire venue on Handsworth Road in Sheffield. We provide four rooms for hire, giving local organisations, groups and individuals flexible spaces for meetings, activities, workshops, classes and suitable social gatherings. Our rooms range from smaller spaces for 30 people to larger rooms accommodating up to 80 people according to our current room-hire information. We provide kitchen facilities with our Matthew and Mark rooms, while our John room has access to a small kitchenette. With the exception of John, our rooms have disabled access, helping us accommodate a wider range of visitors. We welcome both one-off and regular bookings, although our premises operate under conditions reflecting our role as a Methodist church. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on our premises, and one-off hires must leave the building by 5:00 pm. Our aim is to provide practical, welcoming and community-focused spaces where groups can meet, learn, worship, organise activities and spend time together.
