Located on Drury Lane in the heart of Wakefield, The Art House provides a creative and welcoming environment for meetings, events, workshops, celebrations and artistic activities. Our Grade II Listed building, formerly a Carnegie Library, combines historic character with flexible contemporary spaces designed for a wide range of uses. We offer several hireable rooms, including meeting rooms, studios, galleries and larger event spaces, allowing organisers to choose a setting appropriate to their occasion. Our facilities can support conferences, training sessions, creative workshops, talks, community activities, celebrations and performances. We also provide catering and refreshments, an alcohol licence, AV equipment, projectors, flip charts, sensory aids and additional equipment on request. Our central Wakefield location places us just a short walk from Wakefield Westgate railway station, with several nearby car parks available. We also provide strong accessibility features throughout the building. With our creative atmosphere, adaptable spaces and supportive team, we provide a distinctive setting for events in Wakefield.

Our Mulberry Boardroom is the larger of our two boardrooms, offering a quiet classic meeting environment. We accommodate up to 14 people and provide a Smart TV, sound system and webcam.
