St George’s Conference Centre is a versatile, centrally located conference and events venue on Great George Street in Leeds. The centre was opened in 2006 and forms part of the St George’s Church organisation. It provides a collection of purpose-designed rooms furnished to a high specification, allowing organisers to accommodate everything from very small meetings and interviews to conferences and receptions for up to 150 people. The venue is particularly focused on business and professional events, including training days, corporate conferences, AGMs, seminars, workshops, committee meetings, interviews, fundraisers and formal receptions. An Event Manager is available to support organisers, while audiovisual equipment is provided throughout the centre. Free Wi-Fi is available across the venue, and flexible catering arrangements can be made. Accessibility is a significant feature of the centre. All conference rooms are located on the ground floor, accessible parking spaces are available, accessible bathrooms are provided and integrated hearing loops are fitted in the meeting rooms. The venue is approximately 15 minutes' walk from Leeds railway station, placing it within convenient reach of the city centre and surrounding business and university areas.
