Hope Mill Theatre

Hope Mill Theatre gives a distinctive creative space in the heart of Ancoats, Manchester, where we bring audiences, artists and communities together through theatre and the performing arts. Housed within a historic mill building, our venue combines character with a flexible performance environment that can adapt to different productions, seating arrangements, lighting designs and creative requirements. We operate as both a producing house and a venue available for hire, welcoming visiting companies alongside our own programme of work. Our events include theatre productions, musical theatre, concerts, festivals, workshops and community activities. We also provide an inclusive and accessible environment, with step-free access throughout our public areas, wheelchair provision, an accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities. Our on-site car park and central Ancoats location make us convenient for audiences and visiting companies. We continue to develop our facilities and community spaces while supporting artists, nurturing new work and creating opportunities for people to experience and participate in the arts.
