The Rufus Centre is a highly versatile and modern conference, meeting, and event venue located on Steppingley Road in Flitwick, Bedfordshire (MK45 1AH). Originally built as a private school in 1990, the facility was purchased and transformed by the Flitwick Town Council into a premier community and business hub that officially opened in 1999. Today, it is well-regarded for its flexible rental spaces, beautiful countryside backdrop, and excellent local accessibility.
Our largest room can comfortably seat 200 people and is ideal for conferences, presentations, exhibitions, product launches and seminars. Situated on the ground floor just off the main foyer, the room is fully air conditioned. If you are looking to hold a Hybrid Meeting, portable video conferencing equipment is available so that your delegates can join you either in person or remotely.

The Rufus Centre features a large, enclosed, outdoor space with 112m x 88m field and gardens ideal for marquees, team sports tournaments, or large outdoor gatherings.
The beautiful celebration garden is situated just outside the building and is perfect for special photos, arrival drinks and much much more. Along with this, our large playing field is the perfect location for a glorious summer marquee.
The Rendezvous Café & Bar is a bright, modern venue offering indoor and outdoor seating in a scenic semi-rural setting.
