We are Dunsley Hall Country House Hotel, a characterful Victorian country house set within four acres of private grounds on the North Yorkshire coast, close to Whitby and Sandsend. Our spaces include the Terrace Room, Oak Room and Library, giving us flexible options for intimate gatherings, meetings, dinners and larger celebrations. For bigger outdoor occasions, we can also provide a marquee capable of accommodating up to 250 guests. We offer on-site catering, Wi-Fi, audiovisual facilities, parking and accessible public areas, together with comfortable accommodation for residential stays. Our grounds provide opportunities for outdoor activities, barbecues, concerts, team building and other private events. With exclusive-use wedding options and a beautiful coastal setting, we offer a distinctive venue for memorable celebrations and professional gatherings.
We provide the Oak Room as a characterful setting for smaller weddings, private dining, meetings and celebrations. We can accommodate up to approximately 70 guests, while retaining the traditional atmosphere of our country-house surroundings.
We offer our largest regular indoor event space, accommodating up to 100 guests. The room provides a flexible setting for weddings, receptions, dinners, conferences and private celebrations, with direct connection to the hotel's terrace and grounds.
We offer our Library as an intimate space for smaller meetings, private dinners and gatherings. With capacity for up to approximately 40 guests, it provides a comfortable and quieter alternative to our larger event rooms.
We can provide a marquee within our private grounds for larger celebrations and outdoor events, accommodating up to approximately 250 guests. It gives us additional flexibility for weddings, receptions, concerts, barbecues and major private gatherings.
We offer approximately four acres of landscaped grounds surrounding the hotel, providing space for outdoor celebrations, barbecues, concerts, team-building activities, photographs and other private events. These grounds complement our indoor event spaces rather than functioning as a separate room.
