We are Hotel Victoria, an iconic Victorian hotel overlooking the picturesque fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Yorkshire coast. Built in 1897, we combine historic character with recently refurbished interiors, welcoming hospitality and spectacular sea views. We offer a selection of flexible spaces for celebrations, private gatherings, dining experiences and special occasions, from intimate groups through to larger events of up to 100 guests. Our spaces include Osborne’s Restaurant, Osborne’s Lounge Bar, The Loxley and our Garden Bar and terrace, giving us options for relaxed meals, private celebrations, live entertainment and outdoor gatherings. We also provide on-site catering, accommodation, parking for overnight guests and beautiful alfresco areas overlooking the bay. Our events team can help tailor each occasion to suit the size and style of your gathering. Whether you are planning a wedding, birthday, anniversary, private dinner or celebration of life, we provide a memorable coastal setting with genuine Yorkshire character.
We offer Osborne's Restaurant as our principal larger event space, making it particularly suitable for bigger celebrations, anniversaries, receptions, celebration-of-life gatherings and private dining occasions. Our restaurant provides an elegant setting with beautiful coastal surroundings.
We provide an intimate and elegant lounge space for gatherings of up to 30 guests. It is well suited to smaller celebrations, drinks, private dining and relaxed social occasions, with the character and coastal atmosphere of our historic hotel.
We offer this intimate room within The Loxley, our traditional Yorkshire pub, for smaller family gatherings and private dinners of up to 20 guests. It provides a more relaxed and traditional setting for intimate occasions.
We provide our partially covered Garden Bar and Terrace as a distinctive outdoor setting overlooking the sea. With heating and lighting, this area works particularly well for relaxed gatherings, drinks, summer events and outdoor celebrations.
