At The George Hotel, we provide a welcoming and central Whitby setting for private functions, parties, meetings and training days. Our newly refurbished restaurant/function room gives us a flexible space for small business gatherings and social occasions, with private Wi-Fi, a 55-inch TV with HDMI connection, audio facilities and a private entrance. We also provide buffet options and refreshments, allowing us to support a range of informal events without losing the friendly atmosphere of our hotel. Alongside our function space, we offer a lively bar and regular entertainment, making The George Hotel suitable for celebrations and social gatherings. Our Grade II-listed building sits on Baxtergate in the heart of Whitby, putting guests close to the town's marina, beaches, shops, museums and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. With 19 bedrooms accommodating up to 48 guests, we also provide convenient accommodation for groups attending events at the hotel.
Our hotel's principal dedicated event space is the newly refurbished restaurant/function room. It supports private functions, parties, small business meetings and training days, with private Wi-Fi, a 55-inch HDMI-enabled TV, audio and a private entrance.
