The Durham Ox, Shrewley

The Durham Ox is our country pub and event venue at Shrewley Common, set within the Warwickshire countryside. We offer a welcoming setting for private celebrations, weddings, family occasions, corporate gatherings and seasonal events. Our five-acre countryside setting includes beautiful outdoor areas and our distinctive boho-style tipis, creating a relaxed environment for larger celebrations and special occasions. We provide a choice of catering options, including canapés, buffet menus and two- or three-course set menus, allowing us to tailor the food to the style of each event. Our venue combines traditional country character with flexible spaces for dining, socialising and entertainment, while our gardens provide additional outdoor space for guests to enjoy. We also host live music, local events and seasonal celebrations throughout the year. For weddings, our tipis provide a distinctive countryside setting for formal dinners, speeches, dancing and evening celebrations. We aim to make each private event personal, comfortable and memorable, with our team helping guests plan their occasion from start to finish.
