Lake View Lodge & Plant Nursery

Lake View Lodge & Plant Nursery is a small hospitality and nature-oriented property in Mzuzu, Northern Malawi, combining accommodation, an outdoor restaurant, a plant nursery and agricultural activities. The property is particularly distinctive because it operates a garden-to-table dining experience, growing some of its own vegetables, strawberries, herbs and chillies and producing its own chilli sauces and pickles. The lodge provides bed-and-breakfast accommodation, dinner and camping facilities. Its accommodation listing describes private rooms with attached bathrooms and access to shared spaces, while the property also offers Wi-Fi, dedicated workspace and free on-site parking. The entire accommodation listing has a maximum of six guests, although this should not be interpreted as an event capacity. The property also has a strong outdoor and recreational character. Guests can enjoy a large bonfire, stargazing, mountain hikes and views around Mzuzu Dam and the surrounding area. The plant nursery and farm activities add an educational and ecological dimension to the property.
