Buccleuch Arms Hotel is our privately owned country hotel and historic coaching inn in St Boswells, near Melrose in the Scottish Borders. Built in 1836 as a hunting lodge for the 5th Duke of Buccleuch, we combine historic character with comfortable modern facilities and welcoming hospitality. We have 19 en-suite bedrooms, a large bar, bistro, beer garden, conference facilities and dedicated spaces for weddings, meetings and private events. Our Salmon Room provides a versatile setting for conferences, meetings, dinners and celebrations, while our elegant Boardroom is ideal for smaller gatherings and intimate civil ceremonies. We also have an enclosed garden suitable for marquee weddings and a gazebo where guests can enjoy drinks on the lawn. Our team works with local suppliers to help organise weddings and other special occasions. Whether you are planning a business meeting, wedding, private celebration or dining event, we aim to provide a relaxed, flexible and memorable experience for our guests.
