Augill Castle

We are Augill Castle, a beautiful 19th-century castle set within the Eden Valley in Cumbria, surrounded by stunning countryside and close to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. We offer an intimate and highly personal setting for weddings, celebrations, private gatherings and exclusive-use stays. Our approach is deliberately relaxed and flexible, allowing every event to feel unique rather than following a fixed formula. We have four grand reception rooms, characterful bedrooms and suites, a bright conservatory bar and extensive outdoor grounds that can be used for larger celebrations, marquees and tipis. Our current accommodation includes thirteen bedrooms, allowing us to host up to 26 overnight guests for exclusive celebrations. For weddings, we can welcome intimate groups within the castle or larger gatherings in our gardens. We also provide in-house catering, bar facilities, breakfast and dinner for resident guests and dedicated support throughout the planning process. We aim to make Augill feel like your own private castle.
