Burtonfields Hall is a privately owned 19th-century country house and exclusive-use events venue situated in the Yorkshire countryside at Stamford Bridge, approximately 15 minutes from York. The house was built in 1837 and subsequently extended, including the addition of its distinctive Billiard Room, which dates from the late 19th century and features Arts and Crafts architectural details.
The venue provides a collection of interconnected Edwardian reception rooms rather than relying on a single conventional function room. These include the Billiard Room, Dining Room, Drawing Room, Library, Hall and 1920s-inspired Bar, together with the south-facing terrace and extensive parkland. The spaces allow guests to move between rooms during an event and provide different environments for dining, drinks, conversation and entertainment.
The Billiard Room is the largest internal function space and can accommodate up to 120 guests for ceremonies, 76 for formal dining and up to 130 for receptions and dancing. For larger wedding breakfasts, the venue uses a seasonal marquee on the south-facing lawns, increasing dining capacity to 120.
Burtonfields Hall also provides nine en-suite bedrooms, exclusive-use accommodation, catering through recommended suppliers, a fully stocked bar, event coordination, parking and accessible facilities. It is suitable for weddings, private parties, corporate away days, meetings, product launches, private dining and residential celebrations.
